MOTLEY TWO SHOW
MOTLEY TWO HAVE BEEN PERFORMING TOGETHER, IN, AND AROUND N.Z., ASIA, BRITAIN AND AUSTRALIA SINCE 1998.
"With a dynamic infectious energy...
...combined with a chemistry and repertoire of tricks and feats of danger, that will leave you breathless with laughter...
...a new force in live physical theatre."
CLASSIC COMEDY CLUB, AK.

"MOTLEY TWO have achieved an impressive level of lovability from an adoring public."
"Despite their rather gruesome or as some would say tragic looks and dress sense, they are talented comedians and work the streets of their native New Zealand..."
"In 2006, they were asked to return after a successful 2005 season – the only act from 2005 to be asked back this year."
JON LOGAN, JLE ENTERTAINMENT, NSW, AUS.
THE STAGE The Stage show can last 15 - 25 mins. It requires a roof height of at least 3m, but ideally 5.5m. Stage lights need to be positioned out of direct juggling sight lines. We can provide mics, PA and music player, although this is discussed per gig and per venue. The show would consist of routines from a repertoire of; verbal character comedy, juggling with patter, a whip routine and a tall unicycle and ladder walking routine. The comedy is self deprecating and therefore is not unsavoury or offensive to watch. |

THE STREET The Street show can last 20, 30 or 45 mins. It requires a hard stage. Paved or dry ground is preferred. We can provide mics, PA and music player, although this is discussed per gig and per festival. "I really like the way they shake hands at the end... It's nice don't you think?... I think that's nice."
MARIO, QUEEN OF THE CIRCUS.

The MOTLEY TWO show will "plough through!" any environment.
The show is always started with quips and anecdotes.
To grab attention the MOTLEY TWO employ an array of techniques, the most forceful being their dramatic syncronised whip routine.
The performers are then introduced; a titanic circus individual with a MULLET... and ...that (other) guy! and the show begins.
A juggling routine then kicks off, which version is dependant on time. All versions are performed with verbal patter; international impressions (through kiwi eyes!), bridge impressions, and acrobatic archery! Audience interaction is encouraged.
The juggling routine is usually interupted with the potentally dangerous knife catch and the worst "sheep" comedy you have ever heard !!
If the show requires a "free standing" circus ladder and 3m unicycle finish, then volunteers (our MOTLEY CREW !) are chosen to help. They are coached to follow instructions, but really they get the opportunity to steal the limelight for 5 mins, which they always do!
The finale of the show is club passing on the the big props, our take on a circus classic, sufficiently spectacular with an unquestionable "glam."
And that's the MOTLEY TWO show; Six, Clubs, n Rock n Roll !!
The MOTLEY TWO have other routines they can perform. These are chosen on a "best suits" basis.
A diabolo routine, a 5 ball routine and rarely used (these days) cherographed dance.
A "squash monty", a "disappearing bottle", a game of intrigue called "Survivor" and an entertaining interactive version of "paper, rock, sissors".
A 6 min cherographed 3 - 6 club juggling piece as performed with the Christchurch Symphany Orchestra.
We are well suited to an MC role with experience including the World Buskers Festival Main Stage 08 and the Nelson Busking Festival 08 Group shows.
We are availible for roving entertainment; "meeting and greeting," juggling or cruising round on our mini-tandem (the corporate favourite!)
MOTLEY TWO HAVE PERFORMED FOR FESTIVALS AND FOR CORPORATE CLIENTS;
